We’ve launched a lottery! It’s simple… choose 6 numbers between 0-9 and if they match the weekly lottery draw, you win great prizes. One of our school players will win a cash prize every week, maybe even the £25k jackpot! Tickets cost just £1 per week and the proceeds are donated to North Lancing Primary School. Every Saturday at 8pm the numbers are drawn and posted online. Winners are notified by email and winnings paid into the account of your choice.

Thank you to everyone who was involved with the Mrs Brown Bars event. Together we raised a staggering £714!

It was a joy to see so many happy children and the playground had a buzz in the air!

Thank you to everyone who came to quiz night. It was a fab  event raising over £400 for the school! 69 people attended, including school staff, governors, parents/caregivers and even a team from the foodbank.

It was great to see all the children at Santa's Workshop today. Each class came up to the studio, which had been transformed into a winter wonderland! The children arrived to their favourite Christmas songs, decorated a wooden decoration with their friends before entering Santa's Grotto for a Story about all the North Lancing teachers with Santa. Once Santa checked his magic book they all received a gift to take home. Your children were all remarkably well behaved and were a pleasure to entertain today.  A big thank you to all the PTA volunteers for giving up your time. Without your help we would not be able to offer this great experiences for the children.

This week the children all created a Christmas bauble to decorate our local Lancing and Sompting Co-op stores to encourage shoppers to choose our school as their Co-op Local cause.

Please sign up for a Co-op card and choose our school, every time you spend on Co-op products, we will get a donation towards our outdoor classroom project.

On Friday 17th November we held our first PTA Lantern Trail. It was great to see so many people attend to see the beautiful lanterns made by the children. The forest school trail was lit up with over 100 lanterns! Luxury hot chocolates kept everybody warm, with pop corn and sweets filled hungry tummies! 

We had 8 incredible winners throughout the year groups, who each took home a rosette and an amazon voucher. 

Well done to everyone who entered a lantern into the trail, and a big thank you to the PTA volunteers and the children who helped out on the night.

When you buy selected Co-op products and services, 2p for every £1 spent goes into your membership account, and the same is sent to support our project!

Our project will continue to support the children and families that attend North Lancing Primary School. Since the pandemic, children’s mental health has been impacted in many different ways. As children spent more time at home during this time, we have seen an increase in attachment, anxiety, emotion-based school avoidance, and a rise in behaviour changes and increased referrals for Special Educational Needs. We would like to create an outdoor classroom area to support the children and teaching staff at North Lancing Primary School. This space will benefit the children through play therapy, and we will be encouraging the children to grow food to use at snack time.

On the 20th October 2023 we dared your children to be different! They all looked amazing and plenty of dares were completed. We saw coloured hair, football shirts, temporary tattoos, squash in water bottles and loads of chocolate snacks! Thank you all for supporting your children, we made an amazing £411.60!

A big thank you to Year 4 for donating £160 to the PTA from their recent Halloween disco. Thank you to the parents that organised the event out of school. There were some fantastic costumes and lots of great dancing.

Thank you all for your support this year. Over the summer we were able to purchase new decking to replace the broken deck in the early years area. Thank you to G J Meakers for giving us a discount on the wood and delivering it for us, and to Mr Hall for building the deck free of charge for the school.

Thank you all for coming along to our Bingo and Quiz nights, getting dressed up for Break the Rules Day, hunting for Easter eggs and buying pre-loved uniform. With the money raised we have been able to purchase new geography and computing resources and a well being library for school. We couldn't have done it without all your help and support!

Thank you all so much for supporting the PTA this year. With some of the money we have raised we have been able to purchase brand new Read Write inc bookbag books. The children follow the Read Write inc phonics scheme in school so it is vital that the books the children bring home to read support the learning they are doing in school.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated towards our shelters for the school field. The PTA spent half term building the shelters ready for the childrens return to school.
